Jason Wu for Target
I have a feeling I know where ladies who don't give a hoot about the Super Bowl will be on Sunday: Target. The Jason Wu for Target collection will hit stores Sunday—if pieces aren't creeping in already here and there. Some of them have already hit eBay, presumably leaked from media previews on the coasts.
In case you want a little context about Wu, he has dressed First Lady Obama on several occasions, including her white, one-shouldered confection of an
inauguration dress. He's designed 53 pieces for Target, from the most darling trench coat to dresses to handbags to scarves, ranging in price from $20-$60. I find the line irresistably preppy and feminine and cute—and perfect for resortwear if you're lucky enough to be taking a vacation yet this winter.
The line is scheduled to be in stores until March 6—but we know what happened last time, so you know you better get there early if you've got a must-have piece or two on the brain. I feel confident you will when you take a gander at these cuties, which is just a small sampling of the collection.

I wonder where the skirts and dresses fall... All above the knee here, but super-short doesn't really fit the style, so maybe it's just the model. I'm hoping they're longer so I can wear! Cute.
I was at the Richfield Target at 9 on Sunday morning, and it was picked clean! Hopefully they'll restock soon--I'm desperate for the kitty cat scarf!
