Target Unveils New Shop-Within-A-Shop Concept

Target Unveils New Shop-Within-A-Shop Concept

This morning, Target unveiled it's new collaboration concept—a shop-within-a-shop of four rotating stores, starting in May. Twitter has been abuzz with the topic, so I'll share what I've learned thus far: The shops chosen for the collaboration are nationwide picks that appear to be cult favorites: The Webster (fashion/accessories), Privet House (home décor), The Candy Shop (self-explanatory), Polka Dog Bakery (pets), and Cos Bar (high-end cosmetics; we have one here in Edina at 50th & France).

According to tweets from Elizabeth Holmes who is a fashion reporter at the Wall Street Journal who attended an unveiling this morning, products will be available in store and online. You can see the promotional video from Target here. (What excited me: Vendors in the video allude to the fact that the shops were allowed to go all-out with their in-store design.)

According to other Twitter buzz, Target will continue its other collaborations, such as the upcoming, anticipated Jason Wu clothing collection for women and the Josie Natori intimates/lingerie/loungewear collection.

More news as I receive it!
